My Benebone #chewyinfluencer

Friends, this winter has been hideous, GRRRRR.  We had -10 wind chills and I did not even want to go out to pee.  We had not hiked in 3 weeks and my B&B was full of Howliday guests.  I had a bad case of the deadly cabin fever.
Finally on Sunday the last of my howliday B&B guests left and I was free to do my Chewy.com review.
Hmmmm.  What is this?  It is a Benebone Wishbone Chew Bone that Chewy.com sent me free of charge in exchange for my honest opinion.
The mom wasn't sure about this because I am a hard chewer.  I killed a plugged in heating pad in 2 minutes flat.  Yes, made mincemeat out of it I did.  (But I did unplug it first, I am not totally stupid you know.)  OK so give me this bone with REAL BACON (drool!) and let me prove to you that I can make mincemeat out of this, too.
But you  know what?  I was a little confuzzled.  It was heavy and loud when I dropped it and I was not quite sure how to approach this.

At 11:30 AM I tried to warm up to this bacon-flavored delicacy but quite frankly, we thought this might be a huge fail.

Well, I tell you, it took me a full half an hour but once I got the hang of it, I really got into this Benebone.
Then at 1:15 PM, I needed a break from all that chewing.
This is one hour and 15 minutes of HARD chewing.
The mom is pleased.
Me, I am exhausted.  Good night.

  1. Brodie, we have a couple of bones like that, but we think they are a different brand. We love them. In fact the top piece is all gnawed down on them. It is hard figuring out what is the perfect way to hold them in our paws, but once we mastered that, we loved the bones. In fact, we think Mom needs to order us some of those Benebones.

  3. Looks like you had lots of fun once you got the hang of it! What a perfect way to spend an afternoon when it's too cold to go out and play.

  4. Brodie, it looks fun to gnaw on a bone. That’s great that this one lasts so long, even for an expert chewer such as yourself.

  5. We love Benebones too Brodie. Our favorite way to hold them is to put the two spokes over one paw and gnaw on the straight part. They last a long time too.
