The boy is always telling mom that when she takes Dixie and Sydney fur walkies that I howl fur 10 minutes straight like AWOOOOOWOOOOOWOOOOOWOOOO. Now dussn't that sound like you huskies? Has I been framed? The boy claims to has recorded this on his phone from up in his room with the door closed while mom was taking Dixie and Sydney fur walkies tonite. He says you has to turn the volumes way up to hear it but it woz crazy lowd. Yeah rite.

Morgan can howl like nobody's business, and it usually happens when Mom or Dad takes the rest of us out without her. I can't believe that a mild-mannered Shepherd like yourself would ever howl, though!

My Goodness Shawnee, you sound like one of those Humpback whales.
ReplyDeleteI know it must be hard for you when Mom takes your sisfurs for a walk but they will always come back to you.
we like to howl at the coyotes -- just so they know we're here!
ReplyDeleteYou sound so sad...if that's really you. You look so innocent in your picture today. If we lived near you, Mama would always be feeling sorry for you. Don't forget, though. You get to go on all those great hikes every weekend.
ReplyDeletehe he- I've heard a husky howl - can't imagine you having that kind of voice. aroooooooooo! (well, I'm a cat so my howl isn't very dog like.)
ReplyDeleteNah, I don't believe a howl of it!
ReplyDeleteI bet your howls were very loud! None of us can howl. Don't think any of our hoomies nor the neighbours would be very pleased with us howling.
ReplyDeleteWe do howl when we is left. If they is walkin they can still hear us when they gets round the corner across the neighbours gardens. They scuttle away quik in case the neighbours do complane...
ReplyDeleteOh thankgoodness. I is so relieved to knows you howl cuz I do it too and I ain't a Sibe eithers. Actually, I thought all doggies howled...guess not. Even so, I think da boy was overexaggeratin'...hehehe!
ReplyDeletePuddles
In a word- YES! Everyday I pull into the garage to hear 2 certain sheppies howling at the top of their lungs with an intermittent bark. They are either welcoming me home or trying to scare me away?
ReplyDeleteMamma Heartbeat
MUSIC TO MY EARS!! THAT was a lovely SONG. Sooooo much better than the stuffs that Peeps call Music. I'm just sayin.
ReplyDeleteI'm not an expert on howling, but if you say you've been framed, I believe you.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all - WHY is she going for walkies WITHOUT you??? No wonder you're howling!
ReplyDeleteThe Road Dogs
Walkies? Without you? I'd howl while I pooped in a shoe!! :)
ReplyDeleteI only howl when mom and dad start howling, then when I start they stop and laugh at me...what's up with that?? It makes no sense!!

Maybe its not you... maybe it was a ghost! Ghosts can sound just like howling dogs sometimes, when they walk around going "Whhoooooooo!"
