What a great hike and just look at all the purrrrty colors. I don't see colors like dat cause our trees here don't get undressed. They be bashful, I guess.
ReplyDeleteYou means you didn't say HI to da porky pine?
What a nice hike! I think I'd be afraid to meet a porcupine!
ReplyDeleteSam
I love the silly faces picture and of course yours is the best, Miss Shawnee. You did a great job of leading them on the hike. I don't know what they'd do without your leadership. The colors and seeniks are just breathtaking. (I cringed at your wet furs. I would hate that!)
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Lucy
That was so nice of you to take the Boy and the Girl for a hike - looks like it was a lovely day too AND some great scenics. We don't think we would have wanted to run into that porcupine either - those quills can be pretty darn painful.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Hiking with you must have been the highlight of The Boy and The Girl's year! You picked a great time to go, too. Those scenics are fantastic, and my mom would have been all squee over a porcupine, too!
ReplyDeleteBunny
Have a great Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
I am on EXCITEMENT OVERLOAD here.
ReplyDeleteFalling Waters
RAWKS.. LOTS of them
an Eye Land in the middle of the river
AND a POKE U Spine... an up close and PAWSONAL Picture of a Poke U Spine. You were very VERY wise to put your boy on the walkin String to keep him away from THAT guy.
Hey Shawnee!
ReplyDeleteWow, your peeps must have had a wonderful hike with you! That's such very pretty scenery and I love all the leaves and water. Gosh, that's a fabulous porkie! I have those in my territory all the time. Great job with the look-but-don't-touch part.
Grr and Woof,
Sarge, COP
What a great family outing you had pal. Was nice family hike. Yikes - when M saw those steps, she nearly fainted. he he - she's so chicken.
ReplyDeleteAnother great hike. Nice that the Boy and Girl could come along with you. A porcupine tried to eat grandma and grandpa's garage last year. Mommy got him to move along by building a fence across the garage and putting out a salt lick in the woods for him. I saw him twice, but wasn't allowed to touch him.
ReplyDeleteHowdy Shawnee, hope it's not another year before your boy and girl can go hiking with you again. What a fab hike but mum's heart went boom boom boom looking at you and your mum and your boy standing on the rock with the scenics behind you. She is a scardy cat!
ReplyDeleteWe loved seeing the Poke You Pine. He sure looks spikey. Thanks for taking us along for the hike sweetie pie. We love your family photos. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
Hi Shawnee - thanks for sharing your beautiful hike with us! Those fall colors are gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteIs there a Micky D's near there, cause Mr. Porky Pine was a little tubby tubby! BOL!
ReplyDeleteAnd we like the backpack with the Cardinals on it! Mom was born in Mizzory so she likes the redbirds.
OMD, Shawnee. You were so brave to defend The Boy against that porcupine. They can be n..a..s..t..y. I'm glad they got to go with you and your mom so they could see all the pretty fall colors.
ReplyDeleteSuch purty colors.
