Hiking with The Boy and The Girl

The Boy and The Girl wanted ME to take them hiking.  It has been a whole year since they went hiking with ME.  It taked them that long to recover, BOL.
That be The Girl and The Boy ofur on the right.  It sure do be taking them a long time to catch up with me.  Yikes.
OK, let's all do silly faces.
I had to lead the way up the mountain.  It starts out with steps - so furry misleading coz it only be the furst pawt wot has steps..
We reached the furst seenik.  I show you a better picture of it...
See, this one do has all of us in it.  Except fur mom coz she be taking the picture.
Here be The Girl Facebooking the seenik to all of her furrends and fambly.
OK, so then anudder hiker commed back to the seenic and sayed "OMG, there is a POKE-YOU-PINE sitting IN THE TRAIL and he is HUGE!"  So I put The Boy on my walking string in case he had any ideas about gibbing that poke-you-pine a big old smooch or sumpin and mom went on ahead to get the poke-you-pine's picture.
The Poke-You-Pine.  The furry fat Poke-You-Pine.
He just waddled off on hims merry way coz the crazy lady mom kept taking his picture and woz getting all squeeeee and stuffs.
Then we had to climb up rawks and I do be leading the way.
Making sure efurrybuddy makes it up the rawks.
Then we woz at anudder seenik.  That be The Boy, mom and me, Shawnee the Shepherd.
Nice colors!
Then we camed down off the mountain and found falling waters.
I got my furs wet.
Me and The Boy
More falling waters.
Then we dropped The Boy and The Girl back off at their car.

What a great hike and just look at all the purrrrty colors. I don't see colors like dat cause our trees here don't get undressed. They be bashful, I guess.

You means you didn't say HI to da porky pine?

What a nice hike! I think I'd be afraid to meet a porcupine!

I love the silly faces picture and of course yours is the best, Miss Shawnee. You did a great job of leading them on the hike. I don't know what they'd do without your leadership. The colors and seeniks are just breathtaking. (I cringed at your wet furs. I would hate that!)

Purrs,
Lucy

That was so nice of you to take the Boy and the Girl for a hike - looks like it was a lovely day too AND some great scenics. We don't think we would have wanted to run into that porcupine either - those quills can be pretty darn painful.

Have a great week.

Hiking with you must have been the highlight of The Boy and The Girl's year! You picked a great time to go, too. Those scenics are fantastic, and my mom would have been all squee over a porcupine, too!

I am on EXCITEMENT OVERLOAD here.
Falling Waters
RAWKS.. LOTS of them
an Eye Land in the middle of the river
AND a POKE U Spine... an up close and PAWSONAL Picture of a Poke U Spine. You were very VERY wise to put your boy on the walkin String to keep him away from THAT guy.

Hey Shawnee!
Wow, your peeps must have had a wonderful hike with you! That's such very pretty scenery and I love all the leaves and water. Gosh, that's a fabulous porkie! I have those in my territory all the time. Great job with the look-but-don't-touch part.

Another great hike. Nice that the Boy and Girl could come along with you. A porcupine tried to eat grandma and grandpa's garage last year. Mommy got him to move along by building a fence across the garage and putting out a salt lick in the woods for him. I saw him twice, but wasn't allowed to touch him.

Howdy Shawnee, hope it's not another year before your boy and girl can go hiking with you again. What a fab hike but mum's heart went boom boom boom looking at you and your mum and your boy standing on the rock with the scenics behind you. She is a scardy cat!

We loved seeing the Poke You Pine. He sure looks spikey. Thanks for taking us along for the hike sweetie pie. We love your family photos. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

Is there a Micky D's near there, cause Mr. Porky Pine was a little tubby tubby! BOL!

And we like the backpack with the Cardinals on it! Mom was born in Mizzory so she likes the redbirds.

OMD, Shawnee. You were so brave to defend The Boy against that porcupine. They can be n..a..s..t..y. I'm glad they got to go with you and your mom so they could see all the pretty fall colors.
