Peenutty Nanner Cookies

Mom always has bananners wot is getting brown and sometimes makes nanner/walnut bread wif them to take hiking for her snack. She has shared with me afore but even tho I is not a frooty kind of dog (bananners = BLECH!) I woz diggin' that nanner bread. So mom thought she would make us some peenutty nanner cookies and kind of maded up the recipe coz she could not find one she liked online. So if'n this be somebody's recipe, it be purely coinsidentals!

This be the stuffs wot you need wot is in your kitchun or wot you has to get from the nom store:

You takes:
  • 1 egg (we use organic coz they be kinder to the chickuns)
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 mashed banana
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
And you smoosh that all up thusly:

Then you mix in wif a spoon, later wif you paws when it gets too thick
  • 1 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats (we pulverized in blender)
and makes you a big ball like this: (WARNING: This ball be not for fetching!)

Then you has Sydney come over to does a cookie dough taste test coz you may not proseed until she gibs the paws up:

After you has gotted the Sydney-Seal-of-Approvals, you smoosh the ball flat like this:

But mebbe not go kwite so crazee with the flours like mom did.

Then you get your cookie cutter, cut out the cookies, and put them in the oven where they do be baking for 30 minutes at 300 degreeses.

Be careful coz when the oven say "DING DING DING" the cookies do be hawt and has to kewl off on racks:

Then they do be all done and you should has 4 dozens of them:

Then it be nomming time! As you can see, we all gibbed the Peanutty Nanner Cookies the paws up!

There be only one prawblem. We catched mom nomming on our cookies and she likes them too. She sayed they taste like sunflowah seeds. Now we has to share our cookies with mom.

This sounds great. A recipe your mom and you can enjoy. It's healthy too. Of course, the best parts are the silly nomming faces. :)

What a good idea for all those nanners that mom forgets to take to work and dad yells at her about when they get too ripe. But maybe you should add something to the recipe that humans don't like much so us dogs don't have to share with them. (I've seen mom taste some of my treats before.)
